I noticed contradictions, with religious speakers claiming people aren't religiously literate and the buybull (bible) is the actual word of god, however when Ken (Yes Mary, an Intelligent Atheist) made his comment that when reading the buybull one sees many contradictions and thus is good reason to move away from these silly stories, then Mary tried to argue that the buybull isn't meant to be read or figured out this way, but Mary, I'm sure you and the other religious on the panel hold in high regard what is written in this book of fiction, so you can't have it both ways... I presume Mary, like all other religious morons just wants to nit pick the parts that they like, (or is more aligned with the way they think) and then impose their way of life on the rest of us.

Religion is basically for the weak & simple minded folk, to be easily lead & fed bullshit, and then to have their money taken or whatever else these stupid people can be conned out of.

Tellit Likeit Is.

William Current proposes we should all pray & ask god for guidance! Well William this is just another stupid aspect of religion & the mythology & empty hopes of prayer, as I'm sure the 9/11 terrorists prayed to their make believe god & therefore deeply believed they were doing gods work by flying into the twin towers and murdering aprox 3 & 1/2 thousand innocent people!!!
Just another aspect of religious delusions for simple people.
"When you can make people believe absurdities, you can make them commit attrocities".
There was a time when everyone believed in gods & religion, this time was called the Dark Ages!

SBNR is becoming more of the majority because faith and justice do not play out in America.  The latest example being Penn State and how outraged this is now but no or little concern for the daily abuses going on.  The imbalance if justice to over-reach in the accusation phase gives rise to false arrests, violence on the innocent while incarcerated and a "guilty until proven innocent" mandate.

Faith has a role to balance injustice and keep our nation based as a culture of hope and opportunity.

We need faith to give us all courage; the courage to act, to preserve the daily defense of what it means o be American.

Highlight the last line of the Declaration of Independence for your next panel of judges and attorneys to discuss the equal application of the rule of law and how it affects our society.

with a firm reliance upon Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our treasury, and our sacred honor.

Loved this conversation. Came upon it during the last 10 minutes.
Much needed, especially for calcified older minds.
As a person who studied Hinduism and Buddhism,I'm now basically an atheist but enjoy studying mindsets and how we seem to need something larger than ourselves to look towards for guidance and succor.
(I can't remember her name but the woman who said that younger people are growing up having a larger world view than us older folks was, I think, correct, and this may be a reason that we and they have trouble communicating and understanding each other.
Living in a society of older folks who tell me that "the Bible tells me so" can be a challenge and conversations regarding world views, limited.
Keep up the good work!
