Review of PBS’s “God in America”
In October, PBS aired a three part series titled "God in America".  The intent of this special was to explore the historical dynamic between religion and public life in America from its inception through modern day. Was America’s religious history portrayed accurately?  What sort of progress have we made toward mutual religious tolerance?

God In America

Starting Monday, October 11th at 9:00 PM through Wednesday, October 13th, WPBT2 will air a 6 hour series titled God In America.  Over three consecutive nights, this special will explore the historical role of religion in the public life of the United States.

WPBT2's religion and ethics program Viewpoint will gather four experts for a follow up discussion on religion's role in shaping America's social, political and cultural history.  This program will air Sunday, October 31st at 12:00 PM and Thursday, November 4th at 7:30 PM on WPBT2.
