The Conflict Between China and Tibet
On March 28, 1959, the ongoing tension between China and Tibet reached a new level when Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, went into exile. Depending on your perspective, this day either marks the beginning of Chinese oppression over Tibet or the end of an uprising of Tibetan separatists. We explore this sensitive issue and whether the conflict is a result of political, historical, or cultural differences.
