Are Americans Losing Faith?
A study released recently claims American attitudes towards religion are shifting, with an increase in those who identify themselves as having no religion and a decrease in those who practice “mainline Christianity.”  We gathered a panel to discuss the difference between faith and religion, whether we are entering an age of disbelief, and how the events of September 11th may have hurt people’s perspective of religious institutions.

Keeping the Faith

The Associated Press came out with a report stating that the "percentage of Christians in the nation has declined." Some Americans surveyed said they "had no religion at all."

If this is true, why? Is it because of our economic crisis? Have we all just given up hope?

Washington state to allow `dignity' deaths

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Terminally ill patients with less than six months to live will soon be able to ask their doctors to prescribe them lethal medication in Washington state.

But even though the "Death with Dignity" law takes effect Thursday, people who might seek the life-ending prescriptions could find their doctors conflicted or not willing to write them.
