We at uVu experienced many events throughout the years and had great opportunities to attend amazing shows, but the media preview for Cavalia Odysseo was one of the favorite!
The venue located on Biscayne boulevard in Downtown Miami was the greatest set up I have seen since Fuerza Bruta at the Arsht center. As soon as you step inside the hall, a unique universe welcomes you and the magic takes over. The big top that rises 125 feet into the sky welcomes more than 2,000 people over 120,000 sq feet.
I had no idea what to expect as I missed the original Cavalia in Miami in 2011. At the first sound of music, the journey began. Beautiful white horses appeared from nowhere running wild and free on the 8,200 sq feet stage. Images of colorful landscapes surrounded the audience and everything from now and then took my breath away.
Cavalia Odysseo is described as a " journey into the imagination, a voyage through space and time, and an exploration of nature’s greatest wonders – deserts, waterfalls, canyons, glaciers and more."
The spellbinding show is a renewed tribute to the relationship humans and horses have forged over thousands of years and that amazing bond is felt during each number.
Cavalia Odysseo will be in town until the end of March 2012.
