Nancy Stafford – Narrator

An actress for twenty-five years, Nancy Stafford has starred in numerous movies and TV series, including five years as Andy Griffith’s law partner, Michelle Thomas, on Matlock, and three years on the Emmy-award winning St Elsewhere, ABC's Sidekicks, and began her television acting career as a regular in a dual role on the NBC daytime drama The Doctors.

Born in Wilton Manors, FL, Ms. Stafford, is a fifth generation Floridian and graduate of the University of Florida. She was crowned Miss Florida in 1976 and competed in the 1977 Miss America Pageant. She has been a guest star on numerous shows, with recent appearances on The Mentalist, Judging Amy, and ER, starred in several TV movies, including Moment of Truth: A Child Too Many and Deadly Invasion, and co-starred with Randy Travis in the feature film The Wager.

For ten years she hosted Main Floor, the network-syndicated fashion, beauty, and lifestyle magazine series airing in over 40 countries around the world.  Local audiences will remember Nancy as the spokesperson for City Furniture.

Nancy is the author of two books published by Random House/Multnomah:  Beauty by the Book and The Wonder of His Love.   A popular speaker, she travels extensively sharing with women’s groups, colleges, churches, corporations, and other organizations. She speaks with warmth and transparency, and her passion is to help others grasp their true identity and worth.  In corporate and campus settings, she motivates, inspires, and challenges others to live lives of significance and pursue their dreams with excellence. She frequently works as a corporate consultant, helping executives and information specialists improve their corporate and media presentations.

Jack Kelly - Producer

Jack Kelly is Vice President of Production at WPBT2. He has worked in public television for over 25 years at various stations across the country. He joined WPBT2 in 2006. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Niagara University in New York and a Masters in Art in Theatre (Directing) from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Over the past three years, Jack has produced South Florida War Stories, Into the Wild: An Everglades National Park Adventure, and The Stranahan House. He is the Executive Producer for all WPBT2 Original Productions.

Angie del Solar Chambers – Associate Producer

Angie del Solar Chambers began her television career in 1998 as a production assistant at WPBT Channel 2, where she has worked as free-lance Producer on the award-winning series New Florida, KidVision and original multi-cultural documentaries such as: Tradición: A  Holiday Celebration, La Cocina de mi Abuela, Leyendas: Legends of Cuban Music, South of Brooklyn, Anatomy of a Hurricane and Mi Colombia. She is currently Associate Producer on the documentary The Stranahan House and Assistant Producer on the popular series Check Please! South Florida, which is now in its third season.

MJ Carr - Writer

MJ Carr is an award-winning photographer and writer. Her photographs have appeared in Nevada Magazine, Comstock's Business Magazine and the Wild Nevada television series. She wrote and hosted House with a History, a series on historic houses in Nevada for KNPB/Reno. Before turning to the arts, Ms. Carr worked as a fundraising professional for PBS.

Sean Hickey – Avid Editor

Emmy award-winning editor Sean Hickey traded in his snow skis for scuba fins when he moved to Miami from New Hampshire in 1990. After graduating from Barry University with a BA degree in Sports Management, Hickey honed his skills as an underwater videographer and editor while working aboard a South Florida charter boat as a scuba diving instructor.

Hickey came to WPBT2 2 in 1997 where his skills as a videographer and editor would propel him from freelance audio assist to a full time staff position within two years. Hickey worked on the award winning series New Florida, Wild Florida and Florida Road Trip and has been awarded Emmy’s for his work on Anatomy of a Hurricane, Wild Florida and La Cuba Eterna con Enrique Chia.

Hickey’s passion for the ocean and his diving experience will no doubt add to the excitement of this new series. Sean and his wife Debbie enjoy spending time with their cat Jake and their three dogs Simon, Sebastian and Harley.

Allan Farrell - Videographer

After a family trip to Mexico at age eight, Allan’s parents were surprised at the caliber of pictures he had taken when given the opportunity to get his hands on a real camera. Some years passed before he could try out a real film camera at the University of Florida, where he earned a B.S in Broadcasting with an emphasis on production. After graduation, Allan landed a production assistant job with WPBT in 1979. Quickly progressing to associate producer he switched to cinematographer when a position opened and shot and edited film for a brief period before the station converted over to video.

Over the years, Allan has worked on numerous special projects; including the documentary series Common Ground, nationally broadcast Décor, Lady of the Glades and other award winning documentaries. Work with Comtel, WPBT’s commercial arm, has included shooting for ESPN, Ford, promotional footage for Burt Reynolds and more. He has done aerial work from hot air balloons, helicopters, even a B-17 bomber.

As an adjunct instructor at Palm Beach Community College, he has been teaching Editing and Post Production for the past ten years.Allan has won multiple Emmy Awards, a Telly award, as well as First Place in The Florida Bar, 28th Annual Media Awards.

Jeremy Nicholson - Videographer

Jeremy Nicholson came to WPBT2, in 2001 after he graduated from Liberty University with a BA degree in Television Production. Nicholson, an outdoorsman and lover of wildlife, began his television career as a studio camera operator. He quickly moved into the field as a videographer where his adventurous nature and keen eye captures the life underwater and the wildlife above, chasing that once in a lifetime shot – is all in a days work for this Emmy winning photographer.
