Greetings, everyone. Welcome to the new Issues blog! Here you'll see stories that caught our eye as well as updates on the program we are preparing for the week.
Ideally, this will be a place where people interested in local "issues" and politics can meet to discuss relevant topics of the day. On Issues, we take pride in our panel discussions so that viewers go behind the headlines and hear different perspectives on the topics we are covering for the week. Having that said, I'm excited about playing devil's advocate online to what I hope is an exciting extension of our weekly program.
In case you've come across this blog and aren't familiar with our program, Issues is a half-hour public affairs program that airs Fridays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 12:30 pm on WPBT Channel 2.
