Expiring Bush Tax Cuts
Earlier this week, President Barack Obama said he was in favor of letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the wealthy but would keep the tax cuts for those who earn below a certain threshold for only one more year.  We discuss the pros and cons of this proposal.

Miramar Raise
Miramar City Commissioners voted to give themselves a $2,500 raise last week in order to offset the money they say they will lose by following the county's new strict ethics code, which prohibits freebies.  Michael Mayo joins us on the program to discuss this story and other county news.

State Attorney Closed Primary
Are write-in candidates being used to force closed primaries in order to keep a segment of voters from participating in an election?  Our guest Armando Lacasa thinks so, and is pursuing legal action to open Miami-Dade’s state attorney’s race to all voters.
