Florida's 2012 Amendments - Amendment 8 Florida voters are deciding on 11 constitutional amendments this election season—Amendment 8 is easily one of the most controversial. This proposal, titled “Religious Freedom,” aims to remove language in the Florida constitution that prohibits the public funding of religious institutions.
