A Look Ahead - Political Predictions for 2012
On our previous program, we looked at the major political stories of 2011. This week we take a look ahead at the major stories of 2012, such as the presidential election and the future of gambling in Florida.
Guests:
Jim DeFede, WFOR CBS4
Sean Foreman, Ph.D., Barry University
Tim Padgett, TIME Magazine
Robert Watson, Ph.D., Lynn University

One of the things I really dislike is the negation of the viewership - the electorate - as bored, disinterested myrmidons who 'kow-tow' to popular consensus as lemmings to a cliffside, and are 'glazed' by such inane subjects as municipal government and national realpolitik. Horsefeathers. Do not press down upon the voters a crown of stupidity. Every salient issue your program discusses does thrill, chill, fill the recesses of our human instinct toward discourse, indignation, and legislative action. Keep up the good work, but never talk down to your viewers - we may know more than you realize.
