ISSUE ONE: Miami-Dade County Budget Vote
Miami-Dade Commissioners voted on the County’s annual budget in a meeting that began on Thursday afternoon and ended at 3:20 am Friday morning.  Eight commissioners voted in favor of Mayor Carlos Alvarez's proposal to raise property taxes but maintain community-based organizations while five commissioners voted against it.  Commissioner Carlos Gimenez joins us to explain his vote.

The union representing the City of Miami police responded to recent salary and pension cuts by filing a lawsuit asking for the city to be placed on financial oversight.  Miami police union president Armando Aguilar joins us on the program to share why he thinks the lawsuit is necessary.
