One of the proposed bills (SB 956) out of the Florida legislative session is to reform our voter laws, including changing the documents needed to prove identification and how far away campaigners need to be from voting sites. What reforms are needed to our voting system and will these changes help or hurt participation in the electoral process?

Earlier this week, President Barack Obama lifted restrictions to Cuba--relaxing the travel ban and the amount of remittances allowed to be sent to the island by Cuban-Americans. We gathered a panel to discuss this and other developments with Cuba this week.
