Obama Wins Florida

Senator Barack Obama was elected as the country's 44th president last night with an 349 to 163 victory in the Electoral College over Senator John McCain.

In Florida, Obama won 51% of the vote versus 49% for McCain.

Election Day, November 4th

In Florida, millions of voters have already cast their ballot for the 2008 presidential race by either visiting early voting locations throughout the past two weeks, or by mailing in their absentee ballots. Many more are expected to head to the polls today to help select our country's future president.
