Born in North Israel, near the Lebonese boarder, Liel Kolet experienced war with her family as a young child.
A couple years after winning a European talent contest in Italy, then 14-year-old Kolet performed John Lenon's "Imagine" as a duet with President Bill Clinton.
Since then, the songwriter and peace advocate Kolet has sung at various concerts and charity events around the world promoting peace and recorded with singing legends Andrea Bocelli, Herbie Hancock, Patti LaBelle and the Scorpions.
