So if you are looking for new restaurants in the Sunny Isles area I've got three. In the Intracostal Mall ( the one on 163 and the NE 35th Ave.) they have resurrected the old Shooters/Dox on the Bay. It's now named Water Club. It's gorgeous. Looks better than the original. Immaculate and brand new. They added more tables space inside and the deck is brand new. They even rebuilt the pool outside and and have a great bar with cool misting spray from above. The view is fab. they have a half price happy hour for food and drinks.
Right next door is Racks. Sounds like a rib joint but it's actually Italian food. I had veal something with lemon and something. It was yummo. My friend had pasta with clam sauce. There were more clams than sauce! Great drinks with Acia berry and blueberry juices. Cozy bar inside in the back. I'll be back there again for sure.
Then next door to Racks is La Flamma. It's seemed more like a family style big meal place. Waiters were carrying skewers of huge chunks of meat. We didn't eat there but if you are in need of a family meal, I think that will be a very good choice.
Well, that's it for now. If anyone out there wants to buy me dinner, I be happy to give an honest review.
Happy meals to you, until we meet again.

That's so cool. Thank you for featuring Salute. I've received a lot of positive feedback from friends and neighbors who have seen the episode. One friend told me it made him drive to the keys to check out the restaurants! That's what we're talking about! Thank you again for allowing me to be a guest reviewer. Wondering how I could make a career out of this? Of course it would take a lot of workouts to stay in shape with a job like that! Love to WPBT (Esp J.B & A.C.)
Best wishes for a fun and yummy Labor Day. Enjoy!

In Key West we enjoyed Pepe's, B.O. (by the waterfront) and Michaels' on Margarte Street. In Islandmorada we truly enjoy the ocean front dining @ Lazy Days, owner owned and operated. Back around home Chez Porkey's, Cypress Nook and Nelson's Diner in Pompano Beach. In Ft. Lauderdale we have a new restaraunt about a month old on Federal Highway, the Mason Jar. It is so difficult to pick one, that I had to tell you about all of our favorites that we take our out of town guests to.
