Since we taped the episode featuring Chef Francesco at Pasta And....we understand that the restaurant is under new management. We've been asking around about where Francesco might be now -- and we've heard that his homemade pastas can now be tasted at a place called Mario's in Parkland.
Please let us know if you're familiar with Mario's -- and whether our beloved Pasta Nazi has indeed been spotted there. Inquiring minds (and palates) want to know!

You obviously have no idea what good pasta is if you think that the new owners food is better. Francesco always made me and any guests I brought in feel at home. Despite the fact that he cooked every dish himself he always had time to come out and greet me and his wife Cici is one of the nicest people around. I can't say the same for the new owners. The food is what I call fake italian (add a lot of garlic and people will think it's italian food). There is no way the food or service compare.

I ve been going to pasta and for years, and honestly the Pasta Nazi was annoying and rude. The new owners make you feel like your one of their family, and they treat you with a lot of love even if they are busy. The service is great, and the food better than before. I have a lot of friends that also go there and they all say the same.
