Joyce,

Thanks for your reply back in Janauary. I can't believe that Francesco didn't like what he was doing. He was such a good cook and he had good people including CeCe making pasta and other homemade meals. He told me that he kissed the ground in America when he gets off the plane from Italy because he loved it here. I thought he loved what he was doing. He was too good at it to not like it. I hope he surfaces again. I really did not enjoy the food cooked by the new owners. Although the pasta was fresh, the sauce was typical make believe Italian. Peolpe think they can just add garlic and it will be "italian food". Francesco's food always tasted so fresh of basil, tomatoes, olive oil, you could taste all the flavors, it was not smothered in garlic. Please please keep me informed if ever you hear of his whereabouts.

Bendt -- believe it or not, I just read online that Cheesecake Factory offers Steak Diane. But, you may want to call to confirm that before you go.

Here's a link to a recipe in case you want to attempt it at home:

Anyone else know of Broward spots that serve this classic steak dish?

Joyce

Janet....From what I understand from some local restaurateurs and friends of Francesco, he was looking to get out of the restaurant business. He was much happier during his days as a 'pasta maker.' I will ask around to see if anyone knows what he's up to these days, but I doubt that he went back to the restaurant biz....unfortunately.

I understand the Morton's Steak House restaurants in Miami and in Aventura have Steak Diane on the menu. Not sure about Broward though. I'll check into it.

My favorite food Steak Diane.

Can you tell me where they serve steak Dianne in Broward County
Look forward to you show.

Janet

Can anyone tell me what happened to Francesco and Cece of Pasta and... in Margate, FL? No one could cook like Francesco. I would follow his cooking anywhere. The new owners/chef are nothing like Francesco's cooking. , Please Please find out why they sold and where they went.
