More Check, Please! episodes on the burner

We've received some great feedback from viewers -- and from the many new fans of Check, Please! South Florida.  Thanks to the comments, support, and applications rolling in, we will soon be in full production on a brand new ten-show series.  But, now that we've served up a sampling of episodes, tell us what you think.  Did you have a favorite guest?  Episode 1's Robi Brian may be the next Simon Cowell of local dining, according to this Miami New Times blog.

Stay tuned in February.  The first four shows will encore weekly throughout the month on WPBT, and the guests' written reviews of the restaurants will be added to the website.  Check those out for even more insight into their experiences.  You'll also be able to view segments from the show online.  In March, we'll be taping a whole new batch of Check, Please! episodes...so if you've got your application in, keep your fingers crossed.  Producers will be calling throughout February and March to conduct phone interviews, and you could be selected to rant and rave in our studio about a new round of restaurants.

Check, Please! South Florida brings together all different types of people, from all walks of life to discuss their favorite subject: FOOD. And for me, it’s kind of like meeting new friends. It’s great! There is nothing better than food to bring family and friends together….so called breaking bread, as they say.

We’re all so busy in our lives. My life revolves around my restaurant, and to be able to meet these people on the show, and to get to sit down with them for an hour to chit chat about their lives and the food that they like to eat was a truly enjoyable experience! I feel like I have made friends for life….and I have found restaurants for life!
