Visit is Part of Nationwide Effort to
Inform Consumers about the Digital Television Transition

DC – Louis Sigalos and
Keyla Hernandez-Ulloa today announced that they will visit Miami, Florida on
January 13-15, 2009. The visit is
part of an extensive nationwide initiative the Commission has launched to
increase awareness about the upcoming transition to digital television. Among the many activities scheduled for
the visit, Sigalos and Hernandez-Ulloa will hold two "Ask the FCC"
events that are open to the public.
Additional FCC staff will be on hand at these events to answer questions
about the DTV transition and provide informational materials.
