KidVision Leaps into Discovery

On February 29th WPBT/Channel 2's KidVision along with A Place of Our Own / Los Niños en su Casa, BP, The Parent Academy and the Miami Science Museum worked together in creating a free night at the museum for families in Miami. Leap into Discovery was the theme, and as all the parents and children entered they were immediately in the world of discovery with the dinosaur exhibit all over the museum. 

As families entered they registered and were immediately greeted by Channel 2 with KidVision stickers and other cool stuff. This fun night began at 5pm – 8:30pm and had things going on all over. From planetarium shows, food, a dinosaur exhibit tour, meeting a live animal, Curious George episodes playing, an interesting presentation about science discovery from A Place of Our Own / Los Niños en su Casa, arts and crafts, coloring stations and meeting some KidVision friends like; Curious George, Super Why and Alpha Pig. Many children and parents loved this educational and fun event.  Over 1,000 attendees left with a smile on their face and a beach ball in their hand. Hope to see you at our next event!
