Check, Please! South Florida
Last week, the Channel 2 studios were full of extra activity, as we taped the first four shows of the new series, Check, Please! South Florida. Hosted by celebrity chef and local restaurateur Michelle Bernstein, the concept of the show is to allow South Florida residents the unique opportunity to be "food critics-for-a-day." The first four shows featured a variety of restaurants, from barbecue joints to high-end bistros, stretching from Miami-Dade up to Palm Beach county.
The guest reviewers were just as diverse, from a retired New York
police officer in West Palm, to a hotel concierge on trendy South
Beach, to a skydiving instructor from Ft. Lauderdale.....proof that
everyone - from all walks of life - has an opinion on food! And
speaking of opinions....when the cameras rolled, the sparks flew, as
the guests passionately discussed, debated, and celebrated their dining
experiences.
Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming series, Check, Please! South Florida -- and to learn how you can sign up to be a guest on a future show. Check, Please! South Florida will be served up to viewers during the last week of January on Channel 2.

I have enjoyed a couple of shows. Think its a neat way of informing the lovers of dining out and eating out, there is a difference.Iam recently retired and have an interest in possibly taking part in the show. After being a bartender in of one N.Y.C most popular reaturants for 28 yrs and having a AS degree in the hospitality industry,I could contribute some flavor.
Thank You
