Free Thursday Event at the HMSF

Historical Museum of Southern Florida Presents Free Thursday Evening Programming In Conjunction with the Port Royal, Jamaica Exhibition (click link to see the uVu story on Port Royal)

WHEN: Thursday, April 19, 2007, 6:00 - 8:30 pm

WHAT: CELEBRATION Port Royal Runnings Enjoy live music, dance and poetry as artists pay tribute to the legendary city of Port Royal, Jamaica. Jamaican food will be served.

WHO: Wyle Fyah Band, the Tivoli Dancers from Jamaica, Shiv Shakti dance troupe from Trinidad & Tobago and South Florida-based poets Malachi Smith and Susan Davis. Presented by Jamaica Awareness, Inc.

WHERE: Historical Museum of Southern Florida 101 West Flagler Street, Miami-Dade Cultural Center Discounted parking available at 50 NW 2nd Avenue Exit Metrorail/Metromover Government Center Station
